Car 1.  OGIER/INGRASSIA – fastest time!!

Work on the stricken Ford continued on the side of the road before this stage with Elfyn

Evans and Henning Solberg stopping to offer verbal advice on the wishbone change. The

Frenchman incurred one minute of road penalties for late arrival at the stage start and

slipped to fifth place. “Still really god. It was a big fight and we made it at the last minute

and I am happy to be there.” The stage win moved him back to fourth place…..7.7

seconds off the podium.

Car 4.  MIKKELSEN/JAEGER-SYNNEVAAG

“Everything to play for. I try to give a little bit more in this stage and try to make a

difference.”

Car 5.  NEUVILLE/GILSOUL

Speaking from the service park: “I don’t think we deserved to be in trouble this weekend. It

would have been nice to have been in the fight to the end. We changed everything

yesterday in the last service. It is not over until the finish.”

Car 7.  LATVALA/ANTTILA

“I tried. I should have watched this stage. I did not watch it. It’s too difficult to remember

the places. That’s how it is. I was concentrating too much time on the first stage this

morning.”

Car 8.   TÄNAK/JARVEOJA

“We have a steering column issue. This one was a bit more tricky but at least it was

driveable.”

Car 9.  LAPPI/FERM

Off the road 17km into the stage. The car spun round and teetered on a banking before

falling into a hole. A wrong pace note could have been the cause.

Car 11.  BREEN/MARTIN

“Tough. I am just trying to go through at a nice rhythm and not giving it hammer and

tongs.”

Car 67.  OLDRATI/GUIO

Stopped in SS9.
