The Rally Can Be Watched from Both Land & Sea

Turkey is going to host the World Rally Championship (WRC) between September 13-16, in Muğla, a region known for its extraordinary nature and historic sites. Considered as the most challenging and exciting championship in the world, WRC consists of 13 rounds in total and the 10th round will be held in Turkey.

Following the intensive efforts of Turkish Automobile Sports’ Federation (TOSFED), the WRC, world’s greatest rallying series, is coming back to Turkey. And, Turkey now prepares to host national and international automobile sports enthusiasts and tourists in the Muğla region. With their extraordinary nature and characteristic stages, Muğla and the surrounding districts will challenge world-renowned drivers competing in the rally and astound the crowds watching the stages.

In a route of 896 km in total, the drivers will face 17 stages with the total distance of 317 km. Several stages run alongside the sea, allowing for the crowds to enjoy the jaw-dropping scenery. The Datça stage will run between 10:00-11:00 and 15:00-16:00, on Saturday, September 15, and 4 kilometres of this stage can be followed by boat in Sarıliman Bay.

On the same day, Yeşilbelde stage will run between 08:35-10:00 and 13:25-15:00, and three kilometres of this stage can be watched from Malderesi Bay, and another two kilometres from Bördübet Bay, by boat.

There are also camping sites for those wishing to watch the rally, which will take place in a region right in the nature, close to the sea.
