Stage Flash 13

Date: Saturday, September 14th
Day: 3 Flash N°: 13
Special stage: Kizlan 2 Distance: 13.30 km
Weather: Hot and sunny, 32°C
Road conditions: Dry and dusty

Car 1. OGIER/INGRASSIA
“It has been a very good day. We had no trouble, quite a good rhythm and our rivals had trouble. Now we have to finish the job tomorrow. Quite a big difference (car) in the car compared to three weeks ago. We came here with agood feeling and had a good test on gravel.”

Car 3. SUNINEN/LEHTINEN
“Stages were quite rough and the new aerodynamics is working well in the fast stage. It will not be easy to catch 10 seconds. We will do our best. Fourth position would not be bad.”

Car 4. LAPPI/FERM
“I don’t mind if we are not leading. I would like to be there. I made a small mistake on the previous stage. Even if I was leading tomorrow, the points are important to Seb and we would back him up. It has been a very good weekend so far. Fingers crossed we can make it.”

Car 5. MEEKE/MARSHALL
Slid off the road after 4km with the rear down the bank. “Zero rubber on the car and the car snapped sideways on me. We ended up with a puncture.”

Car 6. SORDO/DEL BARRIO
“It was the target to be in front (of Toyotas). We did not make a mistake and we managed the tyres on the first one to have quite good tyres for the next two. Tomorrow we try and keep it like this.”

Car 7. TIDEMAND/FLOENE
“I really enjoyed it. It was quite fun. It was good learning.”

Car 11. NEUVILLE/GILSOUL
“Really disappointed with the day. It would have been easily avoided if we had kept the four minutes (gaps) from yesterday. We will keep driving and try and take the maximum Power Stage points and go home with a smile.”

Car 89. MIKKELSEN/JAEGER
Rear-left aero damage. “The performance has been good and we have been on the pace. High tyre wear on the last stage. It was hard to drive very fast, but it’s okay.”

Car 23. KOPECKÝ/DRESLER
“All went well in the morning for us but, on the long stage, we had a puncture. We pushed hard on the next one and then got another slow puncture.”
