horrendous. We just tried to do our best.”

Stopped 25.2km into the stage to change a tyre. “I tried my best. I thought the damper was broken and
then I realised the tyre was punctured and we had to stop and change.”

wasn’t sure, first of all, but we needed to change it.”

Loeb was crawling to the finish with serious tyre issues and completed the stage 80 seconds behind
Evans. Front right tyre destroyed at stage finish. “I didn’t know where. I was driving carefully in the
middle of the road. No risks, no cuts and then, suddenly, a puncture. I don’t know.”

“It’s not great, at the beginning, just dust. You could not see anything. I was cautious and tried to find a
rhythm. It feels very hot in here.”
