Three-minute intervals

Car 1.      OGIER/INGRASSIA

“I think it was a bit on the limit with the choice and it worked out. We were pushing less here and my tyres have gone now. There is no reason to take risks with that (tyres) now, but it is not over.”

Car 3.      SUNINEN/LEHTINEN

“It looks like Mikkelsen is pretty fast. We try and improve on the second loop. Let’s keep going and try to find good rhythm with the driving.”

Car 4.      LAPPI/FERM

“It’s been a problem-free morning, clearly. The pace has been consistent. I could not match Seb at all on the first one. He used the tyres well. It keeps us (team) in a good way on gravel. We have a lot of work to do on tarmac. Still we have work to do.”

Car 5.     MEEKE/MARSHALL

“I had a spin and had to get back on the road. Not a good morning. We have to do something.”

Car 6.     SORDO/DEL BARRIO

“This was difficult. Very fast, like a Finland stage, with a lot of gravel. We took two soft for this stage but we could not use because we took out a rim on the stage before. The target now is to keep Jari and Kris back.”

Car 7.     TIDEMAND/FLOENE

Sets the target time of 7min 47.1sec.

Car 10.   LATVALA/ANTTILA

Latvala passes Meeke to snatch sixth place. “Here on the faster the car was working well.

I drove like Ari Vatanen, really aggressively. I do not know if the time was good.”

Car 11.   NEUVILLE/GILSOUL

“We can see so many turn-around situations this year between us three in the fight for the championship. Things like this happen. We try and make the car safer and then they try and make us drive flat out in the forest with no visibility….!”

Car 89.   MIKKELSEN/JAEGER

“The speed has been good apart from the stall. It was been pretty perfect, a nice drive.

Tyres should be easier this afternoon.”
