Four-minute intervals

Car 17. OGIER/INGRASSIA
Confirmed that there was a hydraulic issue on SS6 and repairs were made before SS7. Regained
second place with a storming time. “I had a shifting problem and I still have it….”

Car 33. EVANS/MARTIN
“Trying to take care (of the tyres). It cost me a big portion but let’s see.”

Car 11. NEUVILLE/GILSOUL
“Obviously he (Ogier) may have some better tyres than us. I managed this stage well and kept the car
in the clean lines. I enjoyed that one.”

Car 69. ROVANPERĀ/HALTTUNEN
“Everything is okay. It was a really tough stage. There are smaller gaps now because everyone can go
in the ruts at the same speed. I have to take care of the tyres now.”

Car 3. SUNINEN/LEHTINEN
“Shit…it was so dusty. I could not see anything. I was missing some corners because there was so
much dust inside the car.”

Car 4. LAPPI/FERM
“Quite okay. Deep ruts, but everything is okay.”

Car 9. LOEB/ELENA
Closed to within 0.8 seconds of third-placed Evans with the third fastest time. “I tried to drive slowly
because we destroyed completely the tyres in the first stage. We will check how they are and see what
we can do in the next one.”

Car 44. GREENSMITH/EDMONDSON
“It has been a better afternoon. It’s a shame about the puncture on the last one. We had to use one of
the front tyres on the rear. The balance is out because it’s pretty much a bald tyre.”

Car 7. LOUBET/LANDAIS
“The first one was difficult, we had a puncture at the end. This one, I struggle a lot with the car.”

Car 21. TIDEMAND/BARTH
“The stage was very hard for everyone and I am glad we came through that without any problem. We
try and do the same on the next one. There is a long way to go still.”

Car 22. FOURMAUX/JAMOUL
Lost two minutes in SS6 and his WRC2 lead.

Car 32. SOLANS/BARREIRO
Lost four minutes towards the end of SS6.
