Four-minute intervals

Car 17. OGIER/INGRASSIA
“It is a little disappointing afternoon. We don’t know what happened, we had a shifting issue. Always
happened a few minutes into the stage. It cost me a lot on the longer stage and a couple of secods on
the others. Tomorrow is still long.”

Car 33. EVANS/MARTIN
“Before, we had one tyre with a puncture and we had to put some metal set in to try and repair and one
was already delaminating. It was damage limitation. Still a long way to go and anything can happen.”

Car 11. NEUVILLE/GILSOUL
“The afternoon was much better than the morning. We worked on the set-up and I was happy with the
car in the rough sections. We got what we were looking for. The engineer was pushing for some
changes and it worked well. Great job the team has done. Nothing is done. Tomorrow, we have the
roughest stage of the rally. We need to avoid the punctures and still drive fast. Hopefully we are going
to survive.”

Car 69. ROVANPERĀ/HALTTUNEN
“It was not so good loop for us, the puncture was not nice and, after that the tyres are in bad conditions.
I had to be slow there but the time looks quite good, so that’s okay.”

Car 3. SUNINEN/LEHTINEN
“We need to get a good day tomorrow, a clean day without issues. There is a high risk for punctures. I
need to concentrate on the driving.”

Car 4. LAPPI/FERM
“At least we managed to do some settings changes. I think we need to try something more tomorrow. I
get some experience with this car in these conditions and that is important for the next rally.”

Car 9. LOEB/ELENA
“It went well, the afternoon was okay. We were on the limit with the tyres and we had to save a bit on
the second stage. We lost a lot in the morning with the tyre choice. Now we are second equal, so its not
too bad.”

Car 44. GREENSMITH/EDMONDSON
“The rough stage this afternoon was okay. Driving the last two stages with a bald rear right was
interesting with a few big slides.”

Car 7. LOUBET/LANDAIS
“It was a very difficult day of my career so far. We will learn from that and hopefully better tomorrow.”

Car 21. TIDEMAND/BARTH
“We just need to keep going like this and stay of trouble.”

Car 22. FOURMAUX/JAMOUL
Reason for time loss – the car failed to start after the puncture change in SS6.
